A New Beginning
Hundreds of years ago, on a clear starry night, a single meteor was hurling towards earth at supersonic speeds. It crashed in a wooded area far away from any civilization. Inside was a living embryo from a distant world, carried across the void in a protective shell. Without a parent, it had to fend for itself and survive on whatever nature offered. As time went by and the creature grew, it had to adapt and hunt in the shadows, alone and fearful, trying to avoid detection.
The Mutation Process
Many years had passed since that night, the creature was now full grown and strong, but it's brain remained primitive. Motivated by basic needs and survival, it had almost forgotten all about its origin. However as it roamed through the winding hills of its adoptive world, it stopped, for in the sky a great ball of fire was rapidly approaching. It landed not far and instinctively the creature rushed towards it, sensing a strange familiarity. Inside the meteor it found a glowing alien element. Without thinking it ingested the element and instantly felt a surge of power and intelligence jolt through its entire being. Over the following weeks more of these meteors landed - always in its vicinity. Each one carrying a different compound. In total 7 meteors with 7 different elements landed - and it consumed them all. With every shipment, the creature grew stronger, smarter, and more aware of what humans were lacking. It now possessed qualities and capabilities far beyond any human on earth.

The Transformation
Eventually it was time to step out of the shadows and reveal itself to the world. Among the abilities gained was the ability to shapeshift into almost any organic creature, so naturally it chose the form of a human man. Using his superior intelligence he quickly accumulated a small fortune playing the stock market and indulging in the human experience. Soon however, he grew tired of the hedonistic lifestyle and decided to help humanity cure what he called its "collective sickness". He began creating his own formula here on Earth, refining what it had learned and building something humans could actually use — something powerful, fast, and engineered to unlock parts of the mind we never reach.
